Dots

BY WW EDITORIAL STAFF | 503-243-2122

[March 19th, 2008] Smoking ban, we love you! If it weren’t for the choking clouds of smoke, Dots would be our home away from home. After all, the dark Southeast gin joint has everything else going for it: stiff drinks, creepy black velvet wallpaper spotted with creepier black velvet paintings, and that lovable ancient ATM. As if that weren’t enough, Dots makes a hell of a cheeseburger and life-changing (and, possibly, -ending) cheese fries. (CJ)

2521 SE Clinton St., 235-0203. Lunch, dinner and late-night daily. Cash only.
